THE LOBO LAB
Laboratory of Molecular Neurocircuitry and Motivation

Welcome to the Lobo Lab

The Lobo Lab researches the neurobiological mechanisms that mediate maladaptive behaviors including disrupted motivational processes and repetitive behavior.  Our lab employs a multidisciplinary approach using cell subtype transcriptome profiling, genome and epigenome targeting, intersectional tools to manipulate and assess neuronal activity, morphological analyses, and behavior to study the neural circuits that mediate neuropsychiatric disease-related phenotypes.
